President Joe Biden held what ABC News called a high-stakes summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin today in Switzerland at what the leaders agree is a “low point” in the relationship between the two countries.
Biden said of the meeting between the two leaders, “I did what I came to do” although he ended up apologizing for a remark that he made to CNN’s Kaitlin Collins that was similar to something former President Donald Trump might say.
Pennsylvania Republican Congressional candidate Teddy Daniels tweeted a picture of Biden and Putin shaking hands and noted the contrast in the leader’s faces, mocking the president.
“A picture is worth a thousand words. It appears that Biden just found the prize in a box of cereal while Putin looks like a fox who found the chicken coop open,” Daniels said and added, “We are in big trouble folks!”
